The Ali G 'Wicked, Wicked' car trend & song, explained
By Sendare AI Studio · Updated October 30, 2026
Every time the yellow Renault 5 GT Turbo bounces down the suburban streets of Staines, General Levy's rapid-fire ragga vocal ('Wicked, wicked — junglist massive!') takes over the comments. Here is the full history of the track, the car, and how the 2002 opening scene became an AI character-swap template in October 2026.

What is the exact song in the Ali G car dance video?
It is 'Incredible' by M-Beat featuring General Levy, released in 1994 on Renk Records and later featured on the opening credits of Sacha Baron Cohen's 2002 film Ali G Indahouse. On TikTok, the 9-second audio cut used by the AI templates is listed as 'original sound - rhcapcut0' (`7701434957986237216`).
Is the lyric 'Jungle is Massive' or 'Junglist Massive'?
General Levy actually sings 'Junglist massive' (addressing fans of UK jungle music), which became a running joke in Ali G Indahouse when Ali G asks the DJ to 'put on a bit of Junglist' and viewers misheard it as 'Jungle is massive'. Both phrases refer to the same track.
What car does Ali G drive in the Wicked scene?
A modified yellow 1989 Renault 5 GT Turbo hatchback fitted with a blue Momo racing steering wheel, blue Sparco bucket seats and four-point harnesses, a 'ME BITCH' sunstrip, and a boot packed with yellow subwoofers.
Why did the 2011 YouTube MV cut not work for single-person AI face swaps?
The popular 5-minute YouTube video ('General Levy feat M. Beat - Incredible Ali G DJ Res-Q Video Edit') mixes later scenes where four people (Ali G, Ricky C and two West Staines Massiv crew members) are crammed into the car together. The 9-second TikTok AI template pulls strictly from the opening 0:31–0:59 solo drive before Ali G picks up his crew, so there is only one person in frame.
